Job Summary
We are seeking a Disk Jockey (DJ) to join our team! As a DJ on our team, you will handle setting up audio equipment, putting on an exceptional show per event specifications, and then breaking down equipment and collecting payment. You will also be responsible for accepting guest requests as permitted and using good judgment on song choices. The ideal candidate is passionate about music, personable, has a flexible schedule, and has experience working as a DJ in a similar capacity.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to music and timing schedule to ensure the event runs smoothly
- Accept music requests when permitted, within the expectations of the event, while using your best judgment
- Assemble and break down appropriate audio equipment
- Collect payments and obtain signatures as needed
Qualifications
- Experience working with typical DJ and audio equipment
- Extensive knowledge of a variety of music types
- Experience working with audio or sound editing software
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation: $250.00 - $312.00 per week
